Polski In this section you will learn how to install the bluRadio app.
In order to download the bluRadio application, first verify your operating system type.
Press on the “search” icon that is placed near the “windows” icon at the bottom bar. Type in “control panel” and select “Control Panel” from the list.
Click on the “Control Panel” at the top bar in case you see a long list of options.
Click on the “System and Security” headline and then the “System” headline. In the “System type” field you will see your operating system type. Take note of it.
Download the installation file of the bluRadio app following the link below. Click the “DOWNLOAD FOR WINDOWS” button that corresponds to your operating system type.
Right mouse click the file you have just downloaded and select “Run as administrator”. By default it should be placed in your “Downloads” folder.
If Windows Defender SmartScreen appears, click on the “More info” link and click the “Run anyway” button.
Follow the installation process.
Make sure that your hub is connected to a USB port during the installation.
At this point a new window should pop up to install a Virtual COM Port Driver. Just follow the installation process below.
If the driver is already installed, you will be asked if you want it to be modified, repaired or removed. You can skip the device driver installation process by following the process below.
After a Virtual COM Port Driver window closes, you can follow the remaining steps to finish the installation.
In order to open the bluRadio application, press on the “search” icon that is placed near the “windows” icon at the bottom bar.
Type in “bluradio” and right mouse click the bluRadio from the list. Select “Run as administrator”.
During the first opening a window will pop up where you will be asked to create a database. As a default bluRadio uses a sqlite database, but you also have an option to connect to a Mysql database to which you will have to provide access information. Click on the “Save” button.
After that you should be able to see the bluRadio dashboard.
